License Music for Use on Television, Film, Web & Radio

We have created an environment that includes several well-appointed production suites for songwriters to work and receive mentorship from world renowned professionals, including Hall of Fame songwriter David Porter. Additionally, we have two publishing companies with music catalogs that feature music that has already been licensed in motion pictures and on the album of a Grammy-nominated artist.

Artist Services

We are reviving the lost art of developing recording artists as compelling storytellers who are able to both paint word pictures with their lyrics and are also able to effectively enlist their audience to join them on an emotional journey. To this end, we work with artists to bring out their authentic voice through sound recordings, live performances and social media. We are not afraid to sign an unknown artist because we believe in our process and the quality of the music produced by our team.

Jeremy O’BryanStaff Writer

Jeremy O’Bryan, a Memphis native, has been both gifted and Blessed from the start, and now it seems that ‘destiny’ has prepared him for his musical deliverance. A former St. Jude (Children’s Hospital) patient, Jeremy was diagnosed with cancer at the age of two months old. With Prayer, came remission, and through defying the early odds, Jeremy O’Bryan became one of the premier musicians and Tour drummers of his generation. He was a feature drummer at Al Green’s Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, and toured with the Canton Spirituals as a teenager. His raw talent landed him on stage as the drummer for several tours with the Barkays and the GAP Band.

Jeremy is on the staff of the Creative Department at MIME as a songwriter-musician, assisting with A&R, and he does occasional background vocals at the new label. He says, “Made in Memphis Entertainment presents the unique and rare opportunity to learn and perfect my craft of making ‘global’ music.” Wherever music is consumed on the planet, songwriter Jeremy O’Bryan wants to be the architect.

Denarious HolmesStaff Writer

Denarious is a Memphis native, and began composing beats and rhythms at age 13 and backing up his older brother’s local performances. This incredibly gifted twenty-five year old songwriter exudes wisdom and insight from the first moments of engagement. Fate and destiny seem to be at the heart of Denarious Holmes’ journey from his premature birth, to his triumphant battle with childhood Cerebral Palsy. Nothing came easy, but his Spiritual foundation was built, and layered with a naturally clever way of ‘phrasing’. “A song is basically an idea that expresses a common emotion”, he says.

His musical influences include Bruno Mars, Ed Sherin, and Adele, but his lyrical strength is in understanding a modern audience, and the emotions of a new generation. Denarious studied at the Consortium MMT, engaging on three different occasions before success, and before his talents and determination could no longer be denied. Like so many other aspects of Made in Memphis Entertainment, Denarious Holmes is a young spiritual force, and a super talent. True soul and the human experience shine in his eyes, and his lyrics touch the heart. Why him? Why now? As Denarious points out, “I’m proud that I didn’t have to leave my hometown to experience this level of success and opportunity… Memphis has the heart and soul, and the juice”.
